This position functions as the commercial sheet-fed press operator. Responsible for the daily workflow schedule set by the department manager, quality control, and machine maintenance. A very high level of print quality is expected from each job printed, as well as, meeting and exceeding production standards. The role also includes working with others in the company to provide the highest level of customer service.
Will stack printed pieces evenly and in a timely fashion on a pallet or skid while checking for quality and assisting the crew where needed. Will move pallets or skids to and from the work area. Will assist in changing paper rolls, washing press blankets, and performing preventative maintenance as needed. Will check overall quality of the printed pieces. Will need to continually communicate with the press operator on the performance of the current job. Will keep the area around the press machines clean of unnecessary items and perform other duties as assigned. Mechanical aptitude helpful. **This position requires standing, bending, twisting, and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Shift: 4pm – 12am & 12am - 8amFolder Operator: Sets up and operates folder machine to automatically fold, slit, and score printed sheets into signatures for binding. Cutter Operator : Sets and operates cutter machine to automatically cut printed sheets of paper to job specifications. Both machines require reading work order to determine setup specifications. Adjusts machine during production run as required. Must be able to troubleshoot machinery and make adjustments while ensuring quality and minimizing wasted product. Performs preventative maintenance. Maintains neat; clean orderly work area. Operates or assists on other bindery equipment if needed and when workload permits. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions and decimals. Computer skills helpful. Shift: 12am - 8amThis position is responsible for assisting in the growth and profitability of the mailing department. This is accomplished through effective operation techniques, efficient management of time and resources, as well as developing new revenue streams. The role of the mail prep specialist is to add value to the overall customer experience, in addition to establishing and improving overall production techniques and standards.
